I spent years teaching 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade before moving into STEAM for K–5 students.

Science and math were always my favorite subjects to teach because there are so many ways to make them collaborative, meaningful, and genuinely fun for kids.

Why I Started Creating Resources

I started making my own classroom resources out of necessity, I kept searching for activities that were standards-based, easy to prep, and actually engaging, and coming up empty.

So I made them myself. Every resource I share was tested in a real classroom with real students.

Now that I’m retired, sharing these resources with teachers like you has become my full-time passion. 💛

A Little More About Me

Before teaching, I spent years as a research scientist in the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, so when I say I bring real science into my resources, I mean it! I’m originally from New Jersey (once a Jersey Girl, always a Jersey Girl 😄), have been married 30+ years, and have two young adult children.

When I’m not creating resources, you’ll find me cooking (my dream is to compete on a cooking show!), reading, gardening, or traveling.
